Getting Here

The Cloudfm County Ground is one of the most accessible venues in Chelmsford with a number of transport methods minutes away. Whether you are travelling by train, bus, car or on foot, getting the ground is simple and you are only minutes away.

Car/Parking:

The Cloudfm County Ground car park is pay & display for non-matchday events with cash payment machine located on site. Disabled concessions do not apply and payments can also be made online at www.phoneandpay.co.uk. Car park information – view here.

Directions

From North: Take junction 19 on the A12 (Boreham). At the A130 exit to A138/Stansted Airport/Sudbury/Chelmsford and then at the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Main Rd/A130. This is followed by another roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto A138. The road continues to the Army and Navy roundabout and take the 4th exit onto Parkway/A1060. Continue straight, over another roundabout, and turn left onto New London Road. Move over to the right hand turn slip lane for New Writtle Street and the ground is located on the right hand side down this road.

From South: Take junction 15 on the A12 and continue down the A414 exit to Harlow/Chelmsford. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Three Mile Hill/A414. Continue down this road until you come to two roundabouts. Take the 2nd exit on both roundabouts (straight over). Head over the bridge towards the Wood Street roundabout and take the first exit onto New London Road. Continue down New London Road and turn left into New Writtle Street and the ground is located on the right hand side down this road.

Train:

The ground is located just 5-10 minute walk away from the Chelmsford train station. This is situated on the Liverpool Street to Norwich mainline with 5 trains per hour to and from Central London. For more information on train times and live departures, visit here.

The station is currently undergoing a major development to transform it into a brand new user friendly facility to welcome you into the city.

Bus:

The bus network around Chelmsford has seen major developments since the City status was granted with the redevelopment of the new bus station. There are over 1,000 routes which pass around the county along with two Park & Ride sites at Sandon and Chelmer Valley. On Foot:

There are two access points into The Cloudfm County Ground which are via New Writtle Street (off New London Road) or Sky Blue Pastures which has access points from Parkway and near the High Street.
